Transition sounds to avoid silences and make the conversation more natural.
Filler Audio refers to the transition sounds that the AI agent can emit during short processing moments (response generation by the LLM), in order to avoid awkward silences.
Why is this important?
A silence lasting more than 1.5 seconds during a phone call creates the impression of a dropped call or a glitch. Voice fillers ("Let's see...", "Of course...") make the conversation sound more natural and reduce premature hang-ups.
Types of fillers available
